although i have been living in my current apartment 6 months now, i have made very little progress on decorating my place. while living in my previous apartments, i began decorating the place as soon as i moved in, but for this place, i'm just not into it. well, i should say, not into decorating as much as i'm use to. it could be the fact that my current place is a down grade in quality compared to my previous apartments. or it could be that i am putting my money towards things i want/want to do. but i will say, for what i have accomplished, things are looking really good. i went from earth tones to white, black, shades of gray with accents of silver. and i'll give it to instagram for being my biggest inspiration. i follow so many interior designers, it's ridiculous.

well, for this post i wanted to show you some items i've purchased, and at a really great deal :)

i am still looking for the perfect picture to go above the couch, but i can't seem to find one i like or that is as big as i would like. i'm also thinking about changing the lamps on the side. i really don't want to do white lamp shades, but i feel that will look better against the dark gray couch. the base i got from target, and those two i think i want to change with a bubble design i keep seeing everywhere. we'll see. in the meantime, this is it for now.
