✿book review: love always✿

a lush mix of romance, suspense, and drama, LOVE ALWAYS sears the soul as it confronts the difficult choices women must make to turn love into forever. . . .

boston financial consultant simone harper is red hot. gorgeous and respected, she has a soaring career, and recently tied the knot with the man of her dreams, dr. tony housner, a renowned fertility specialist. but the electrifying passion that brought them together in marriage isn't enough to keep them from facing the greatest challenge of their lives.

for a scandal from simone's past has thrust her on a collision course with another man who shares a shocking revelation. yet simone is determined to claim her rightful future with tony--whatever the odds--and hold on to . . .

as crazy as this may sound, this book really helped me evaluate my own relationships i have had with men. it answered a few questions as to why i act the way i act. i won't go too much into detail about my personal relationships, but this book really opened my eyes.

so after i finished i like him, he likes her i told myself that i would continue to read books everyday like i did when i was in middle school. because prior to reading i like him, he likes her i can't remember the last time i read a book. it was probably high school when i last picked up a book to read, and most likely it was for a class assignment. but in middle school i use to read like crazy. i'd read a 400-500 page book in a week. i literally sped through the harry potter collection. overall, reading is soothing to me, and i really enjoy reading.
but recently on a "dramatic" shopping spree at dollar tree i noticed they had a ton of books sitting in the front of the store. now i'm use to seeing the usual sesame street books for kids, but never have i seen teen to adult novels in dollar tree. i automatically assumed they were books left over from borders recent close of business or books that barns & nobles couldn't sale.
i came across love always by mildred e. riley. i've never read any books by this author, but i read the back of the book (which is what i usually do to see if i'm interested), and i like what i'd read. and most of all, it was $1 (originally $11). i started reading it last weekend and finished 3/4 of the book today during a 4 hour test i was proctoring. this book is very interesting and i never wanted to put it down. i would try to read it every chance i got.

-- review:

the book is an adult read (18+ it has graphic sexual language). it's about a couple, simone and tony and the trials and tribulations they go through, throughout their marriage.
