style | labor day
2:28 PM
now a days, it seems like holidays aren't as exciting as they were growing up. i feel like now all i do is visit family, eat seafood & bar-b-cue, take photos, surf through applications on my phone & reminisce about the old days with my grandparents. as a child i remember having a play set, trampoline, a pool & various toys to play with, with my cousins & neighbors. i don't know. maybe i need to start taking more trips during the holidays. more than likely it will be with very few family members & more friends because my family is afraid to fly, while i prefer to fly (much faster).
well today i spent time with my family after only seeing them once in the past month. i have been extrememly busy working two jobs, trying to keep up with my usual routines & preparing for school. i decided my sister & i would take some pictures for my blog because we both looked very nice. the rest of the evening i spent my time blogging & vlogging.
anyhow, i hope you all had a wonderful labor day weekend & enjoyed this post :)
earrings & tank: forever21 | necklace: charming charlie | orange bracelets: body central | wood bracelet: local hair store | sandals: mrs. trish for target | skirt: mint green
p.s.: just got back to the office from lunch & during lunch i decided to get my eyebrows threaded for the first time. it hurt so bad :( it felt like a little blade was slicing into my skin. i wanted to jump out my seat & run, but she had already started so i let her continue. i don't see what's all the rave about threading. an associate of mine recommended it & said it lasts a lot longer than waxing. hell, waxing doesn't hurt though. but i'll be sure to keep track of how long threading really last...maybe i will get it again in the future. maybe.
