free fashion challenge

what i am about to say will hurt me, more than it will hurt anyone else.
recently i read a blog post from one of the blogs i follow on here & she mentioned that she was joining a fashion challenge, one where she could not shop for an ENTIRE YEAR. i honestly thought it was a joke until i saw the link from free fashion challenge and the assignments they have created for this mission. immediately i thought who in this world (especially as a female) would stop shopping for a year?! are we still on planet earth?!
so i became even more curious to see who exactly is doing the challenge, because the blogger i saw this post originally from said she wasn't starting until she found a particular piece she had been eyeing for sometime. surprisingly, there are over 700 girls participating & the assignments are pretty interesting. i read every inch of the site & decided this was not only something interesting & different, but it's something i need to do.
on my youtube channel i have said a few times before that it's time to sale items i no longer use because 1) i have officially ran out of room in my 850 sq ft apartment, 2) i need to save money to pay for bills, student loans & necessities & 3) it's really not that necessary to have so many materialistic items. so, now that i have purchased my last bit of fashion items, i can begin the challenge (as soon as i get back from vacation that is).
