style | growing up, again

remember that post before my other two recent posts? the one about me revamping my blog & such? yeah, that one. well, i did exactly that, but i went even further to revamp every last social site that i have. i wanted to make all of the URLs my name or cmorekayeeshia (such as my youtube). i just feel like with me about to be 23, it's time that i retire my "cmorekake" or "kake" nickname i have had since the 10th grade. not entirely, but more so just on social networking sites in case someone important comes along. like my school, who follows me on my personal twitter profile (or so i think they still do), and my mentor who follows me on almost all of my sites & of course family.

i just want things to be a little more professional these days. especially in my lead field of study & career which is psychology. i can't have clients calling me dr. kake, lol. so i felt it was time to upgrade & mature once again in life. i even created an instagram profile (via my best friend's iphone & online). terrible right? i was so eager to set up an account, but i have a blackberry, which doesn't allow the application. so i use my best friend's phone from time to time (she has two, so she won't die) or i get online & check out my favorite instagramers.

hopefully, i'll come across an iphone4, 4s or 5 this upcoming month. possibly as a birthday gift? i just know i am ready to leave team blackberry. anyhow, getting to my outfit, i purchased this mustard sheer top last week as apart of my free fashion challenge last shopping haul. i love sheer tops & this happens to be one of my very few long sleeve ones. this one is more decent for work because it isn't that sheer & it's comfortable. by the way, it's high low of course. it's like i can't get away from that trend (not that i want to anyway). these are also my favorite gap crop pants. they're comfortable, give off the illusion i am slimmer than i am (bonus) & they are a perfect length for someone who hits just at 5'3".
