style | summertime sadness

yup! you've guessed it. this lana del rey song has been playing in my head since the beginning of summer. unfortunately, summer is no more :(
i adore spring & summer. on a daily basis i dream of one day living somewhere with tropical weather, such as south florida. but for now all i can do is dream & visit at least twice a year. in the mean time i'll ride this last bit of warm weather out until the harsh cold winds start to pour in this winter.
but on to the outfit. i purchased these floral printed jeggings from american eagle twice not to long ago. i didn't keep both pair, but the first pair fit just right, while the new pair i have on gives me a little wiggle room. i first saw these jeggings in a youtube haul & couldn't believe they were designed for american eagle. i remember being in middle & high school obsessed with ae, but somewhere during sophomore year i felt the store was a complete drag. i checked the website every other day until i came across a free shipping weekend! so i took that as my chance to get a bigger size, plus i paid 20 cents cheaper than in the store (tax difference). not that great of a deal, but who likes to pay extra money for shipping? no one!
the colors within the jeggings are absolutely amazing, which makes them the perfect bottoms for all year round. my top i actually wore in a previous post, just in mustard. i wore a brown satchel with gold details to play off my accessories. i ran a few errands that day & went to the fair (complete waste of my $10) that night with one of my best friends. received a few compliments on my make up which stayed matte for most of the day (which is rare).
