copious is a secure site where anyone can sell most items that can either be new or used. i started using copious last year after it became cold and i wasn't able to have yard sales anymore. it's such an amazing site, and i recommend it over ebay and craig's list.
it's easy to list your items, see who's "liking" or commenting on them. what intrigues me the most, is the payment process. funding must go through copious before it can be sent to the owner. when someone purchases an item on copious, the company will hold the money until the customer signs off on a ups or usps slip when the package arrives at their home. this signature verifies that they received the package. but before they received the package, you have to take it to one of the two shipping locations, get a tracking number (so the purchases can track their package) and input the tracking number onto your copious profile for the buyer to see.
copious does a great job of sending you email alerts on where the package is and when it arrives to the owner. it also gives you options on how you want to receive your payment as well.
overall i use this site as a "shop my closet" deal. things i no longer use which are either used or new and still in great condition. i will still have yard sales this spring and summer for those of you in my area.
