During the first week of March, I went to Miami Beach, FL with some friends. Florida is a usual vacation spot for me, but this was my first time going to Miami Beach & also my first time spending Spring Break with friends. I remember in high school when all the students would talk about Spring Break in Panama City & how jealous I was about not going (I chose to stay home & work).
I had tons of fun! Everything I saw on televisions about Spring Break in your 20s is so true, lol. Like I seen & heard some of the craziest stuff. Of course we went shopping & walked the beach a few times while there. & Miami sure is expensive! Did you know all restaurants (regardless of how many people are eating) charge 15%-20% gratuity & they round to the nearest dollar if you pay with cash (meaning if they owe you change they keep it instead of giving it back)? We found that out when my friend paid for her first meal with cash (after that, we all paid with plastic).
