remember the days when glasses were uncool, and people were called names like, "geek," "nerd" and "four eyes?" well, it's funny how times have changed. in the new day and age, you will come across just about anyone, any age wearing a pair of glasses with or without a prescription. and what do you know? it's actually considered cool.
i personally have been wearing glasses most of my life, and i love them. i started out wearing contacts, but those irritated me a lot, and they were way too much maintenance. i am nearsighted, and wear glasses about 50% of my day (while driving and to look at things that are at a far distance.)
