✿alien movie & dinner night✿

really quick blog post!
this past sunday my two new friends threw a dinner & movie night get together at their apartment. with the new movie prometheus out (started in theaters today), they wanted to watch the first two movies of the collection, alien & aliens. both movies came out between 1970 - 1986, therefore i wasn't even born yet, nor do i ever remember catching a rerun of either on syfy. so pretty much i watch both movies for the first time.
both were pretty good, and if you've seen alien vs predator or any of the sequels to that, alien is the original movie. it was so awesome to hang out with new & potential new friends, and because everyone is a lot older than me (26 - 35), i felt more at home (i'm 22, but has the spirit of a 30 year old, lol).
hue and tram (the hosts), were the best! hue is a chef & owns his own restaurant here in the metro atlanta area. he whipped up homemade chicken & beef tacos, kaylah made sangria and everyone else either brought drinks, snacks or another dish. my friend david made a 7 layer mexican dip that people ate up in seconds.
it was an awesome night overall. i have a few pictures, but the 4 above pretty much sums up the night. we didn't finish watching the aliens until about 10:30PM (each movie is 2 hours).
now we are on our way to eat at hue's seafood spot, then off to see prometheus as a group. ah, don't you just love friend outtings?
